We, the members of the Newburyport Police Department, are committed to being responsive to our community in the delivery of “Excellence in Policing Through Superior Service.” We recognize and accept our responsibility to maintain order, while affording dignity and respect to every individual. Our objective is to improve the quality of life through community partnerships and thereby promote a safe and secure community for everyone.
