14th Annual “Fill-A-Cruiser” Food Drive

When: Saturday Dec. 7, 2019 from 9am-3pm

Where: Shaw’s and Market Basket, Newburyport, MA

Newburyport, MA — For the 14th year in a row, the Newburyport Police Department is sponsoring a food drive to help fill the pantry at the Salvation Army for this holiday season.  Officers will be outside Shaw’s and Market Basket on Saturday December 7, 2019 from 9 am until 3 pm.  We are seeking donations of non-perishable food items, cash, and gift cards to help support the Salvation Army of Newburyport.  Both Shaw’s and Market Basket will have pre-packaged bags for purchase at costs ranging from $5-$25.  As you can see from the picture above, last years efforts were extremely successful and we hope to fill several police cruisers again this year!  For more information, please contact Officer Matt Whitty at the Newburyport Police Department, 978-462-4411 ext. 1088.
